Boadicea readies for 2024 drilling on WA tenements targeting lithium and then nickel
Boadicea Resources Ltd (ASX:BOA) will pursue two high-value battery and critical minerals in its 2024 drilling campaign, with a plan to drill for lithium and then nickel across its Two Tanks, Cat Camp, Bald Hill East and Fraser South tenements in Western Australia.

Proactive Investors reports the company secured Gyro Drilling for its drilling program, with activities to begin at the Two Tanks tenement near Mt Ida in Western Australia late in the first quarter, targeting identified lithium targets.
BOA previously drill-tested pegmatites at Two Tanks, with “highly encouraging” results indicating high potential for lithium, particularly to the east, on the boundary of the Copperfield Granite geological formation.
Drilling to begin in March
“Starting off 2024 with a confirmed drilling campaign in Western Australia is great news for the company,” Boadicea Resources managing director Cath Norman said.
“BOA has an exciting portfolio of lithium prospective tenements and we plan to drill three of them this year along with a strong base metal target at the Fraser South Project in the Fraser Range.
“Drilling will start at Two Tanks in late March, and we look forward to bringing results to our shareholders as we progress.”
Once drilling at Two Tanks and the necessary heritage surveys are complete, Boadicea intends to begin drilling at the Cat Camp, Bald Hill East and Fraser tenements.
The company is targeting tenements in the prolific Eastern Goldfields and Lake Johnstone areas, which have emerged as significant lithium districts in Western Australia, and Fraser Range, targeting a nickel deposit similar to the IGO-operated Nova-Bollinger mine.
