Nik Karakashov

Senior Exploration Geologist

Nik Karakashov is an exploration geologist with 14 years’ experience working in Western Australia, South Australia and Tanzania.

Nik specialises in iron and nickel sulphide exploration, with broader experience in lithium, graphite, gold and lateritic nickel exploration.

He is a graduate of the Imperial College London’s Royal School of Mines having worked for several junior exploration companies and consultancy agencies, gaining significant experience in surface drilling exploration, target generation, field data collection, resource modelling and estimation to JORC and NI43-101 standards. He has held a variety of roles, from project-level exploration through senior site geologist positions as well as a resource geologist role for several years.

Nik’s robust geological and tenement management skills in addition to significant experience in relational database construction and administration, project management roles; as well as generating customised data entry, storage, and analysis tools in the healthcare industry deliver wide-ranging experience to BOA Resources.
