Neds Creek Project
Operator: BOA
Location: Murchison District, Western Australia

Neds Creek Project
BOA Resources will acquire 100% of the Neds Creek Project, subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting.
The area includes the Thaduna and Green Dragon copper deposits and additional exploration tenements in the Neds Creek Copper Project.
Thaduna and Green Dragon contain a combined Mineral Resource Estimate of 5.3 Mt @ 2.3% Cu for 121 Kt contained Cu. (See: ASX announcement: BOA Acquires Copper Deposits in the Neds Creek Project WA, 25 June 2026)
The acquisition consolidates and expands BOA’s footprint in the Murchison Copper Belt to cover ~1,378km2 and includes:
– Thaduna and Green Dragon Mining Leases
– 7 Granted Exploration Licences (ASX announcement: Tenements granted at Neds Creek Copper Project, 16 June 2026)
– 5 Granted Prospecting Licences
– 11 Exploration Licence applications
This region hosts multiple significant copper deposits, including Sandfire’s DeGrussa and Monty mines.
BOA now has a commanding footprint in a proven copper district, providing a platform for growth through exploration and discovery.
The Neds Creek Project contains multiple prospects of sediment hosted, structurally controlled epigenetic copper mineralisation at varying exploration stages.
The Ricci Lee Prospect is an advanced, drill-ready copper target hosted in the Thaduna Formation. Bordering the Thaduna Copper Deposit (5.5Mt @ 2.2% Cu for 119Kt Cu and 829koz Ag), Ricci Lee sits 2km SW of Thaduna and extends over 500m in length. The prospect has returned highly encouraging ore-grade Cu intercepts and remains open along strike and at depth. BOA plans to prioritise resource definition drilling at Ricci Lee.
- The Enigma Prospect is a broad, shallow copper system extending across approximately 4.0km × 1.5km. Originally drilled by Sipa Resources (2012–2014), Enigma has returned high-grade intersections such as:
- THD012F5: 63m @ 1.1% Cu (from 90m) including:
- 741ppm Ni (maximum 2,740ppm)
- 578ppm Co (max. 2,260)
- 1.7ppm Ag (max. 5.9)
- 2,133ppm Zn (max. 9,300)
- THD013F6: 29m @ 1.1% Cu (from 82m), 11m @ 0.2% Cu (from 120m), 8m @ 0.3% Cu (from 135m) and 6m @ 0.4% Cu (from 146m)
- THD014F6: 18m @ 0.8% Cu (from 55m), including 5m @ 1.9% Cu (from 56m).
- THD012F5: 63m @ 1.1% Cu (from 90m) including:
At Rooneys, Limestone Bore and East/NE Green Dragon Prospects additional high-priority drill targets with ore-grade intersections underline the potential for a new copper province at Neds Creek.
BOA plans to leverage machine learning-assisted targeting, integrating extensive historical geochemical, drill and geophysical datasets in its exploration to accelerate identification of additional targets, prospect ranking and resource delineation.
