Cath Norman is a resources executive with 35 years’ industry experience. Cath is a qualified geophysicist who has held executive positions across Australia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

As managing director for 11 years of oil and gas company FAR Limited, Cath Norman led the successful exploration strategy which resulted in the world’s largest oil discovery in 2014 off the west Coast of Africa, west of Senegal.  Under her leadership, she grew the company to be the 6th largest oil and gas company on the ASX at the time, with a market capitalisation of A$680M.

Cath was an integral member of the Lincoln Minerals team to relist the company after a two-year suspension. Cath was appointed Chair of the Board on relisting and interim CEO until July 2023.

Cath has strong capital markets and listed company experience and led the raising of approximately A$500M in equity and $350M in debt for the exploration and development of oil and gas assets. She has strong business acumen and is a company leader promoting cohesive working teams to deliver their best outcomes for the company’s success.
