Yolanda Torrisi is a people-focused woman with an entrepreneurial spirit, vision and vitality to drive successful business outcomes.

After completing her university degree, Yolanda began her working career as a journalist and also presented on ABC radio. Yolanda started the first English-Chinese mining magazine – The ASIA Miner which she ran as managing editor for seven years and subsequently was acquired by a major US publishing house and is still published today.

Yolanda is the Executive Director of ASIA’s Resource Connections-Vanture International JV, a mining equipment procurement business supplying quality Chinese-manufactured equipment worldwide which has now exported, installed and commissioned mining equipment in a number of countries across the globe.

In 2010 Yolanda established The African Mining Network, where she continues to hold the position of Chairman.

Yolanda’s other business interests include her public relations company, a road infrastructure services company and diversified professional services company which includes a law practice, conveyancing firm and HR and IR services.

Yolanda’s outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to develop and cultivate relationships across Australia, Asia and Africa, have earned her unrivalled respect for her ability to deliver successful business outcomes across borders and industry sectors.
