The $57 million deal with IGO heralds a new future for Boadicea. Provide us a quick introduction to this historic deal to familiarise our audience on the terms that were struck.

For the very few people who are not aware Boadicea recently completed a $57 million deal with IGO.

$7 million cash up front and a $50 million upside with a .75% royalty as well.

In effect the deal, while being labelled a sale, in effect sees IGO paying Boadicea to explore 9 of our Fraser Range licences and pay an additional $50m, plus royalties should they acquire a JORC resource within 5 years.

The deal was struck early September voted by shareholders on 14 October at a specially convened EGM.

We encourage investors to look at the Corporate Presentation on our website and various video presentations we have produced to provide you the full details of the deal and our future plans.

Those tenements must hold some significant interest to IGO to effectively pay you to explore them. That’s quite an arrangement you have negotiated for the company and its shareholders.

Well I can’t speak for IGO, but I can speak about what’s happened and happening around the Fraser Range and in particular at two sites very close to our tenements. We have the Nova Mine on strike next to our Symons Hill licence. You may recall, Sirius was a 5 cent stock in 2012 and shot to $10 it was a many times over 10 bagger. Then you have Mark Creasy’s privately-held licence, Silver Knight next to our White Knight licence and then for the trifecta, let’s look at what Legend Mining is unearthing with the Mawson discovery which abuts our Transline tenements. There’s the answer I think and nearology has proven time and time again a winning exploration formula.

The IGO deal gives Boadicea money in the bank to expand its horizons and also rewards shareholders with an 8 cent dividend. Give us an outline of Boadicea’s future endeavours.

Boadicea will now be able to explore its two southern tenements in the Fraser Range – Fraser Range South and Southern Hills. Boadicea will complete a staged work program to identify potential drill targets at these two sites. The ground is located in the Fraser Range Gravity High and therefore prospective for VMS style targets. Boadicea will complete a staged work program to identify potential drill targets.

We also have recently picked up a very exciting lease in the Paterson Province, called Koongulla. As some investors would, know the Paterson Province is proving very interesting hunting ground for new discoveries as we’ve seen by newsmakers Rio Tinto with Winu, Greatland Gold with Havieron, Encounter Resources making good headway on its ground exploration, together with Antipa, Sipa and others. We’re in good company and we’re close to the action. Furthermore, the purchase of Koongulla was undertaken by the new board of management and together with the IGO deal gives investors confidence we are a team that has high ambitions to drive the true value of the company and for shareholders.

Boadicea seems to be developing a reputation for pitching its tent in good camping spots next to what are becoming major exploration attractions.

There is no doubt people will start to see us this way on the back of four strategic licences we hold – Symons Hill, Transline, White Knight and Koongulla. BOA has a record of extracting great value from its tenements.

The new board of management is certainly driven to unearth the new Boadicea and has ambition, drive and commitment to grow the company significantly.

We can see plenty of opportunity and now it’s all about ensuring the best of our talents keeps growing the company’s value with tenements we acquire and how we keep exploring the three tenements we currently hold.

If we look at the company now how would you summarise its new starting point?

We are now Set and Ready to Grow the company for the next stage.

  • Exploration will be completed for free by IGO in Fraser Range
  • We’re rewarding shareholders
  • We have sufficient cash to grow through to the next stage
  • We have excellent tenement ground in the Fraser Range and Paterson Province
  • We are investigating other opportunities very closely
