Boadicea Resources Ltd (ASX:BOA) has been granted an exploration licence for the Giles South tenement in the Fraser Range in Western Australia, one of the hottest exploration addresses in Australia.
The nickel, copper and gold miner said the licence was for the E28/2952 tenement and had a total area of 14 blocks covering around 42 square kilometres.
E28/2952 forms part of the package of nine tenements subject to Boadicea’s conditional sale agreement with IGO Newsearch Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IGO Ltd (ASX:IGO).

The licence E28/2952 was granted on September 9, 2020, for a period of five years and has an expenditure commitment of $20,000 in the first year.
Giles South is about 45 kilometres north of the Mawson nickel sulphide discovery by Legend Mining Limited (ASX:LEG).
Enviable position in Fraser Range
Boadicea has established a strong Fraser Range foothold in recent years and is confident of the prospectivity for nickel sulphides.
Under the terms of the agreement with IGO Newsearch, Boadicea Resources is free carried for all costs and exploration commitments.
This transformational agreement will see IGO nine BOA Fraser Range licences, including ballot wins .
The Fraser Range has attracted global attention due to the three deposits delineated in the region – IGO’s operating Nova mine, Legend Mining’s Mawson discovery and Creasy Group’s Silver Knight.
