Boadicea delivers strong progress across projects in prime WA resource locations

Boadicea Resources Ltd (ASX:BOA) has delivered strong exploration progress across its Bald Hill East, Kookaburra Well and Fraser South projects in prime resource locations of Western Australia.

Proactive Investors reports at Bald Hill East Lithium Project, the company has completed reverse circulation (RC) drilling totalling 2,008 metres across 16 holes testing geochemical targets.

At Kookaburra Well, Boadicea has completed heritage surveys, paving the way for a drill program to be completed once the program of works is approved by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS).

Furthermore, at Fraser South, the company has identified a massive sulphide target, prospective for Nova-style nickel or VMS-style mineralisation, known as Snowys prospect.

The company has a total landholding of 1,735 square kilometres across 17 tenements including in some of Australia’s most prospective resource regions.

Bald Hill East Lithium Project

In July, Boadicea completed an auger sampling program, identifying three anomalous lithium zones at the project in a known lithium area of the Eastern Goldfields.

These anomalies cover an area of around 2.5 x 2.5 kilometres and provide a high-priority target for drill testing, which is being planned.

A 16-hole 2,008-metre RC drill program to test the potential source of the three anomalous lithium zones was completed on September last week.

Preliminary logging of the drill core did not identify pegmatites. Samples collected during the drill program have been sent for assaying.

During the exploration, additional potential for Archean gold mineralisation was identified. This will be further assessed following completion of the assaying.

Additional lithium exploration potential exists within the western regions of the Bald Hill East exploration tenement.

Extra native title approval and clearances are required to access these areas of the tenement.

Kookaburra Well Project

At Kookaburra Well in the prolific Leonora region of the Goldfields, Boadicea has completed an assessment of the available magnetic data resulting in the identification of three anomalous circular magnetic features within E37/1470.

These targets have been identified as possible diamondiferous kimberlites or REE-bearing carbonatites.

A heritage survey covering the key exploration targets was completed on September 12 this year and has provided clearance for the drilling.

Regulatory approval for drilling is subsequently underway with drilling scheduled for the December quarter.

Fraser South Project

Fraser South is now a priority drill-testing exploration target for the company, situated within the Dundas Nature Reserve of the Fraser Range resources hotspot.

Prior to any permits for exploration being approved a Conservation Management Plan (CMP) is required.

This is being prepared by a Perth-based environmental specialist and is scheduled for completion in mid-October.
