E28/2937 South Plumridge

The South Plumridge (E28/2937) licence has a total area of 100sqkm and is located approximately 20km north-north-west of the Legend Mining Mawson nickel discovery. It has been explored by IGO under the terms of agreement until 2024.

IGO undertook AC drilling at the Beacon target on South Plumridge (E28/2937) drilling 12 holes for 480m.

Structural feature similar to Galileo’s Lantern

Drilling tested an aeromagnetic/structural feature similar to Galileo’s Lantern. Hole depths ranged from 26-56m with an average hole depth of 40m.

Data continues to be reviewed from the Beacon drilling.

Other potential hosts of nickel-copper-cobalt primary sulphide mineralisation are North Emperor, Mahli West and Fletching.
