Eggpie Prospect reveals anomalous nickel, copper, cobalt and gold
Transline South covers an area of 38km2 and is located 30km south-west of Legend Mining’s Mawson nickel-copper discovery.
The Eggpie prospect has been identified at the Transline South E28/2866 tenement prospective for mafic-ultramafic rocks revealing anomalous nickel, copper, cobalt and gold.
IGO has air core drilled 34 holes for a total of 3798m at the Eggpie target.
Further exploration planned
Samples collected and assayed indicate medium to high prospectivity based on correlation to the geochemistry of the Ni-Cu-Co Nova-Bollinger Deposit.
Ground electromagnetic surveys will further define potential Ni-Cu sulphide accumulations.
